Designer Holly Davis is a self-taught artist who has always had a love for jewelry. Like most little girls growing up, she was fascinated with everything in her mother’s jewelry box and had tried it all on a thousand times.

While she had experimented with many creative pursuits, it wasn’t until she strung her first necklace a few years ago that Holly was truly inspired. Soon after, her weekends were filled with trips to bead stores, reading everything she could find about jewelry making and creating gifts for friends and family.

When people started to ask about her work and how they could get a piece of their own, she started to put together the plans for her own enterprise, Girls’ Night Out Designs.

A Bedford, N.H., native, Holly graduated with honors from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in English/Journalism. She has worked as an editor and writer in the state’s entertainment scene for many years. She lives in Manchester, N.H., where she is the editor of a statewide monthly women's magazine.

She believes mass-produced jewelry is on its way out. “More people are looking for a way to express their individuality through the accessories they wear,” Holly says. “An independent designer can help them achieve this better than any mall or department store.”

Holly recently waved goodbye to her 20s and looks forward to spending the next decade supporting her addiction to gorgeous beads, unique jewelry and happy customers.
